Job Description

At MyScoot, we're on our way to create the world's most meaningful socialization platform - something that is relevant both offline & online. We've decided that the world has had enough of superficial likes & empty swipes. 

But while we're heroically at it, we've been too involved with the offline part of it & the online party hasn't received proper attention. But, this shall happen no more.

So, we're looking for a dynamic individual to take us from a bunch of picture-posting social media accounts to a brand which has a cool, quirky and impactful presence on social & digital media which is driven by micro-communities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You're the ideal candidate if you have:

  • 2-4 years of experience overseeing a social media presence including in-depth knowledge of social media and messaging platforms, market trends, industry standards, and tools of the trade
     
  • Developed & executed social media strategies, content calendars & digital campaigns (paid & non-paid) in the past
     
  • Fluency with social media metrics, analytics, and benchmarks including tracking and understanding attribution from social media
     
  • Excellent copywriting skills and a keen visual sense. An eye for detail and a quick wit
     
  • Experience in managing freelancers/agencies
     
  • Experience in working smoothly with cross-functional teams
     
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills; able to articulate a vision, strategy or idea clearly
     
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short term needs with long term strategic initiatives
     
  • Experience in heading teams internally
     
  • Experience in sharing whatever you bring for lunch (of course!)

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop a content calendar, including social campaigns, and promotions that are integrated with the overall marketing plan of the company
     
  • Create, articulate, and execute a vision and strategy to rapidly increase the followership and quality of our online communities
     
  • Build marketing plans that achieve engagement through paid & organic social media
     
  • Manage day-to-day reactive and proactive communications on all key social media channels
     
  • Grow engagement, reach, and impact through dedicated campaigns and community management
     
  • Work with the core team to roll out critical metrics, tools, reporting and dashboards
     
  • Manage a team of interns/full-time employees to oversee our footprint on social media
     
  • Report key social media metrics to key stakeholders via a dashboard
     
  • Gather insights from social communities that inform various functions including product development, CX, marketing and communications
