It works just like Airbnb; people can discover get-togethers or host them – making money for house parties, dinner parties, brunches, or evening gatherings, for example. It uses a 5-step verification process to screen users and help ensure a safe environment. Our vision is to become the biggest platform for All Social Events and help people make real connections (and not the one's with fake stickies and swipes). Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones
  • Impeccable spelling and grammar
  • A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online
  • Great research, organizational, and learning skills
  • High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word and Google Docs
  • Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices    
  • Some experience with online marketing and lead generation
  • An understanding of formatting articles on the web

Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, rewrite and edit assigned events description or other deliverable every day to improve readability and ensure consistency.
- Read description/documents closely to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar syntax and style.
- Verify facts, dates and statistics, using standard reference sources.
- Edit, keeping the reader or audience in mind.
- Work cross-functionally with all other teams/departments, including external agencies, to improve the overall workflow process, procedures and systems.
- Take part in content development, distribution, and marketing automation.
